Rowhan Posted March 12, 2005 Report Share Posted March 12, 2005 (Cody) SoI got a laptop, a used Dell Inspiron 1100, and I can't get it conencted to the internet. My girlfriend and I played with it for over an hour and couldn't figure it out. It says it's connected at 100.00mps (or something like that, i know it's 100.00), but the status thing isn't recieving anything and I can't get to the internet. Any ideas? If it's XP, right click on my network places, properties, right click on the lan connection and hit properties, Then click Configure. Change the speed to auto. See if that helps.
