Speeding ticket, will it be dismissed?

So I got a ticket in Huber Heights (Dayton area) while driving my car. I was going 75 in 55 (construction zone :slap:)

The cop was cool but didn't have me sign the ticket. My friend's mom works at the BMV and said that if I didn't sign it, the ticket will be dismissed if I want to go to court.

What's your opinion? Any one else been in this situation?

Bad news, man. Judges aren't real keen on folks who speed in construction zones. The cop was probably cool, but the judge may not be, and while you didn't sign the ticket, he'll make sure you sign the check. Hopefully, your insurance company won't hit you too hard.

i just asked my friend who finished police training, and he said "yes" it will get tossed if he didn't have you sign it...

Damn it people. I've heard people say both ways....:drink:

Oh well, I just paid it so it's too late now. I don't really have the time to go to the arraignment (sp) and then all the way back for a court date later on.
