Old Toyotas > *

Pour out a little liquor for my 1982 Celica that got totaled. I also miss my 1983 corolla. Anyone remember me bringing that thing to meets?

Good to see another AE86 around. Here is how mine looks right now, progress feels so slow. But when it's all said and done, the 4agze will be worth it I think. Welcome to the board! graemlins/nod.gif

Yeah, that would be my hachi. It's not *as* beat up as it was when I brought it over to fix the brakes, engine wise. Turns out the head gasket was fixing to blow, and finally did on New Years Day. We just need to correct a few minor glitches and it'll be pretty zippy for what it is. smile.gif It's only the SOHC version though, so it's no match for a GT-S. There are some curiosities about mine that I've noticed though, like how the cruise control lever doesn't seem to be the kind that toyota put in them (wrong side of steering wheel, etc), and a few other things that make you go "WTF?"

Very nice AE86, BTW, Know anywhere to pick up a cheap hatch or quarter panel? Mine have the standard issue Toyota rust.

you just gotta check all the junkyards around in columbus for corollas.. once in a while you can find some good condition sr5's, but rarely GTS's. I usually check U-Wrench-It like every week or so, and occasionally other locals.

Kuruma, if you are looking for a rust free hatch for the liftback Corolla. Best bet is the parts section on club4ag.com or just ebay. In Ohio is hard to find none rusted Toyotas. We should all meet up, have a old-school toyota meetup. Besides I already know Andy. tongue.gif

Oh yeah. And that is hot. Did you buy it like that? No motor, JDM Zenki bumpers? BTW those Advans are sexy.

+1

Old japanese cars seem to melt away right before your eyes when you drive them anywhere that has winter X_X Gotta go somewhere like California or Texas to find immaculate Toyotas and Hondas from that period. I'm on Club4AG as well, but I don't post there often due to no internet at home/not many topics catching my eye.

Me and my 86 would be up for an oldschool 'yota meet sometime after I find new employment. Gasoline doesn't buy itself, unfortunately. :D
