Dang big old titties for sure!

a fender eliminator kit would fix the turn singnal crap.

whats the side fairing on it looks like a strange wing too.

no change for the R1 huh, maybe 2007 then, buy then i should have my R6 paid for and might have to replace it by then if it dont hold past 80k miles.

I think I'm going within the next week to put a deposit on a new R6. Does anybody know why they are keeping the old style R6 as well (R6S) ? What's the reasoning behind that? overstock?

If the new R6 sounds a bit too pricey for you, perhaps Yamaha can interest you in the 2006 R6S. Set to come in at a much lower price tag (somewhere below $8000), the R6S is basically a 2004 R6 that you can buy brand new. Sure, it doesn't have an inverted fork or radial-mount brakes, but that shouldn't take away much overall goodness from what is essentially the same bike that won both our 2003 champ.

did you forget to post a link or something?

I'm assuming the picture isn't showing up for you? If so, I figured that might happen. I snatched the pic off of R6-forum.com. I can see it, but that might be because I'm registered there and already logged in. Let me see what I can do.

the sv is such a great bike though, it'll be hard to build something to come out and compete right away. They shoulda gave the kawi more power, it's about the same as the SV, and most likely the SV will still handle much better.

The Kawasaki 650r Ninja is a liquid-cooled, DOHC, 8-valve 649cc Parallel Twin with fuel injection. I couldn't find a hp rating, weight, or price of it yet.

I like the looks of it, just hope it does run as good as the SV. If it takes after the "500R vs the GS500F" then it will be faster than the SV.
