Nate1647545505
Load up IE, go to the windows update site. Install the activeX garbage and try to verify. It should say you failed (or pased if legit). Select tools from the Internet Explorer Menu > Internet Options, then hit the Programs Tab, There is a button at the the bottom of the menu, Manage Add Ons. Select All add-ons that have been used by IE, then find the Windows Genuine Advantage and select Disable. Restart IE and update away. Nitrousbird
I already posted this a month ago in the Senior Member's forum for those that are Senior Members. This does affect more than just pirated software. There are some legit people that are affected as well. I'm no Window's fan, but when my alternatives are a MAC (yuck), or other Unix based OS's that don't have the software support due to everything being written for Windows, you don't have much of a choice. Kuruma
I like my G3 iBook. Does everything I want, and doesn't need any messing with to work right on OS X (10.3.9). Nuff said.
