Kuruma
sorry, i want a 3 cyl to play with, you know, port the head, cool air intake, make it a rolling joke, complete with fart can I dunno... The turbo 3-cyl engine out of the Pontiac Firefly Turbo (Canadian Metro) actually puts out a good deal more power and can make for a pretty nice car. Of course, I've also seen people swap in the 1.3 liter Swift GTi 4-cyl engines and get pretty crazy with them. Rode in a convertible Metro with one that was putting out 130+hp and redlined at 9,000 RPM. Not bad at all. Still a bit slow for the amount of work put into it, but not bad at all for a Metro. still2hi
I have a buddy who is selling an older s-10. Its kind of beat up, but you said you dont care. As far as I know he has never had a problem with it. He's asking $600 I believe its an automatic. Pm if you want more details. Brandon
Buckeye1647545503
I still want to put the whole driveline out of a metro on a go cart frame.
Kuruma
That's actually not that bad of an idea, but instead of the Metro's engine, why not snag the turbo version of it? The fuel economy was as good as the NA version, but 40% more power at 7.5psi. Would make for a nasty little go-kart.
