wnaplay1647545503
I have a 95 e150 conversion van. How hard is it to replace the main seals?? I think I am calling them by their proper names, It is starting to leak alot of oil and I am assuming the seals are bad. They are at either end of the oil pan right? Is it a matter of dropping the pan putting new seals in and a new gasket and thats it? I have done 1 on my chevelle many a year ago but is it basically the same? If you have any suggestions of what else I should consider please post. I can fix myself but I am curious how much it might cost me at a garage if anyone knows. cdk 4219
Front and rear seals are 1 piece seals that require pulling the trans (for the rear), although there is also an oil pan gasket that may be leaking. This doesnt require removing the trans. Also check for corrosion or rust through on the pan itself.
