you are right it looks good for the 3v

are you kidding me.

you realize there are ALOT of 1000-1200 hp 4v modulars

you know upon rereading that I understand what you are saying. But I just want to pint out it does not look good for the 3v. The tunning is an issue on the new ecu's

How not, 900 ftlb is over 1000 hp

hp is nothing without torque!

no it's not. in a large cube motor with that bore and stroke and rotaing weight I would assume the tq is much higher than the HP.

assume nothing!....Single carb setup on one, low 1000 range

sheet metal tunnel ram and duals 1200 range . And that was on a 604 cube build up! The cam was around .980 lift solid roller!

And they had made over 70 dyno pulls with it and never missed a beat! trying to find the link!

On network 54 theres a street car on there putting down 950 hp at the wheels (search and punch in pinky)

i am still wonder what calculation you used to determine the HP on the car you posted. I need links not hear say. I also said I need enough to say alot of these make 1000-1200 hp.

And most of the motors are in pulling trucks :p

And im not wasting my time digging for the shit!

so think what ever you want! The modd motor has been around how long?

Damn i forgot the big blocks been around since the 60's....

Every one knows the 03-04 motors will take a 1000 horse but take the blower off and then what! you have half that...Displacemnet RULES!!!!

get over it!

Ummm Big ASS hairdryer!!!!!!!!!!nuff said!

There's a lot of guys going that route on ModularFords.com. They had to open up a subforum for them. I'll stick with the old belt-drive for awhile. They have some potential.

our local motor shop has several SMALL block fords making 1000hp n/a.. big blocks can make that number with no problem.... the majic is all in the heads and inches of course.

ah yes ...420 cube small blocks with yates heads or brodix heads

and 550 plus cubes with C heads or Blue Thunder! Gotta love it!

Stock blocks need not apply! :burn:
