mitsu is still in it, i beleive.

great clip, really a compilation of clips.

Mitsu pulled out as of last year due to financial constraints, as well as Citroen and everyone but Subaru and Ford. People are saying that WRC is done after this year, I hope they're wrong.

Then why did Sebastien Loeb win Rally Mexico on the 5th and take the points lead in a Citroen?

It's still Ford, Subaru, Citroen, and Peugeot. And Suzuki announced this week that hey are entering.

Does anyone know where I can d/l this video to my computer? I hate streaming video that I can't keep.

Yeah, basically all the same models are back this year, but most manufacturers have pulled out. These cars are being run by independent racing teams instead of being factory backed.

That is correct on the independent teams. It is the best motorsport. You only see the same turn once per year and sometimes not even that many times. They can walk/ride the stages days before in WRC and make their own stage notes to add to the ones given. I wrench for a friend who races pro rally in the US. I have friends who hate cars and racing in general they go to one race and see cars going down a single lane road over 100mph sideways. There hooked.

Thanks for clarifying that, it was my intent to say the "Manufacturers" had stopped backing these cars. Ford and Subaru are the only Manufacturers backing their cars this year.
