dragknee66
Ganked my brothers bad ass 10's and amp... Need a wiring kit to install it. This would include power and ground cables and RCAs.. Anyone??
street pilot
I had to make a late-night run for speaker wire once, and noticed Meijer has some pretty inexpensive wiring kits. I dont know about the quality, but if its not an audiophile setup, I'm sure they would be fine.
dragknee66
they have the long power cables, short grounding cables and RCAs? What about the fuse for the power link..
Trouble Maker
Yeah, just go somewhere and get a 'kit'. I picked one up for a reasonable price at Andersons before. I'm sure lots of places will (might) have them. Meijers, Andersons, any Audio/Electronics store.
dragknee66
I know.. I would just rather not spend $100 bucks on a kit that I can get at some rinky dink shop for half hah
Trouble Maker
The only way you are going to spend $100 on a kit is if you are getting something with 2 or 4 gauge power wire in it. An average sized one for a single amp, single set of RCA's, should be well less than $50. Jon, If you can't find one for much, much less than $100, I'm not going to help your dumb ass. dragknee66
Amp is 1000 watt though, so Ill need at least a 4 guage setup most likely.
BloodRed
I actually found a good kit at Wal-Mart when I put some subs in my wife's car. It has seemed to be a good kit. I think the only thing it was missing was the speaker wire. It was a 8 guage kit I got for around $20. I think the 4 guage kit was $30. Then you're probably going to pay some money for anything that is worth a shit. I'm sure you already knew that though. I know you are trying to do this cheap, but I wouldn't trust a $30 kit with that much power. Is it really worth you're car burning to the ground to save a few bucks?
