It is a foam mattress and has a area where the iron was sat on it and burned a small area in the covering. Although it isn't noticable with a sheet on it. We just flipped it over. Other than that its a good free mattress. We just needed a firmer one. If noone wants it, it will go in the trash this week. call me 861-2697 I wont hold this, whoever gets here first gets it.
