evan9381 Posted April 29, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 29, 2006 theres already 2-3 guys spraying...my buddy up in michigan was running an 80 shot for a bit, another guy in MD (i think) is running like a 70 shot. theres also probably 8-10 boosted guys, 1 supercharged, rest turbocharged. F/I isnt so reliable on these cars and being that this is my DD, i need reliable over fast. if i can have one of the fastest n/a cars, im happy with that. i think with a ported IM/TB, IM spacer, adj cam gear and accessory pullies i can get it down a little more Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

evan9381 Posted April 29, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 29, 2006 damn. i didnt see you. how long were you there? i didnt get there til 7. i had a nail in a tire, was at the shop getting it fixed when my buddy called me. went home, pulled the subs and spare and headed up. i got there about 7, was in the lanes by 7:20. we had 2 cars infront of us when they started getting the hot rods w/ slicks out when the guy wrecked the vette on that note, did anyone find out how he is? i heard the crash wasnt too pretty and the 5.0l fox...was it red? i ran one later in the evening that ran a 15.609 to my 15.735. it had the 5.0 badge on it so i can only assume. i was suprised i held up so well to it. evan9381 Posted April 29, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 29, 2006 that would be sweet, but it seems my next best 3 runs were a 15.55-15.60....i think with a couple more small mods i may be able to get a consistent 15 flat or high 14 what did your best run end up being? did you just make one more pass after i stopped over? seemed like after 930 the wait time was nothing. between 10:20 and 11 i made like 5-6 passes with a 2 car wait maximum. evan9381 Posted April 29, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 29, 2006 it was a fun time. im hoping next week my buddy from pittsburgh comes out like planned. 2-3 weeks ago we turbo'd his 2000 elantra (the small ones, last generation) with a t-25 turbo and he's running 7psi daily, 10 for track/racing. i would like to get him out to see what he can do. ill be out there for sure. cant beat 5 hours of racing for 10$ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
