Memorial Day

Hope everyone is having a good Memorial day. Jen and I visited the American Cemetery in Colleville-sur Mer, France (Normandy). I thought I would share some pics today of that place. The beach is Omaha Beach where the American Forces landed on D-Day, June 6th 1944. It is a very pretty place now with few scars or signs that so many people lost their lives there. It is very quiet and peaceful.

Here is my Great Uncle who was shot down over Paris on March 25th 1944.
