SquirrelyNutsDSP
Background: My dad had an unfortunate accident with my 93 Silverado 1/2 ton 4x4 about two months ago, and it's not really worth repairing so I need to do something with it. It has around 200,000 miles on it, with a 350 and solid drive line in addition to extra leaf springs that were installed in the rear. There's rust in the normal places on the truck, and the damage is mainly in the front end. Question: I'm not trying to post this as a for sale thread, my question is simply what should I ask for it, given the background, and if I can't sell it how do I dispose of it? copperhead
I would try to part it out as much as possible. After that, to get rid of whats left you either take it to a junkyard or crusher. From what I've heard, some junkyards will come and pick it up for you. Crushing it would propably get you some more cash, the one I've gone to is across the street from u-wrench-it. For them, you need to give them the title, or they will accept it if the engine is out of it.
Total Sign
Most yards will pay 100-200 if you can drive it in.
