The Colt is down and out, for good. I can not yet release details about the accident, just know that I should not have walked away, at all. The roll cage and helmet saved my life.

Since it is no longer able to terrorize the streets, the little secrets can come out.

The car made 708whp and 508 ft lbs@34psi. A quick tune netted me 707whp and 497ft lbs @ 32psi. Low boost (17psi) netted me 459whp and 351 ft lbs. This was all achieved with a quick getto tune that I never took the time to improve on.

Further more, I went 10.5@148.8 at only 30psi on my baby slicks. The most interesting #’s of that run being my 1.9 60ft and 111mph 1/8th mile speed. For reference, Corey’s hatch went 118mph on its way to a 9.9@149. Needless to say, the Colt had MUCH more left in it with traction and more boost, but I had to leave a little more for the race with John Tilley (TT Vette).

I cant give details of how it happened yet, maybe not ever, but rest assured, I should not have survived, let alone walk away.

Thanks guys, a few people want to hand it form their shop's cellings, so I dont think it will be scrapped. We'll see what happens.

200 mph in a street car is very impressive, let alone a Colt. Sorry for your lose and glad to hear you're ok. Any chance you have vid showing 200 mph? How was that speed gauged?

GPS, and yes, but no. I am sorry, I dont want to start another E-battle over it, but the video simply can not be made public.

well look at it this way. Perhaps this incident will save your life later on by making you more caucious in the future. The motor, intake an turbo look like they did not take too much of a beating and should be salvageable. You never know until you get in there though.

I remember the brief conversation I had with you a few months back going hey please put a cage in it and you saying yup got one going in. Safety is very important and can not be overlooked.

Roll racing is fun and all but those kinds of speeds should never be attempted on the street. Glad to see you lived to tell others how bad an idea going 180+ in a car that has no business doing is.

I am curious if this had anything to do with the brake/wheel hub issues you were having 2 weeks ago?

Thanks.

No, it has nothing to do with that. The car was taken to 180mph t many times to remember with no issue. As stated, a park bench ricer wing 100% would have saved my ass.
