Need to borrow a drill bit

Largest I have here is 3/4. But when I have needed larger in the past I first used a compass to mark the hole, drilled out as large as possible, used a carbide bit to enlarge, and then cleaned up the hole with a small flapper wheel.

If you can't find a bit, your welcome to use the above of mine.

That's an odd size, might be hard to find even at a machine shop. A 15/16" might be easier to locate, just how accurate does the hole need to be?

The 3/4 pipe thread tap I'm using calls for that size bit. I would assume that it needs to be that size.

A 15/16 will be fine, it's only 1/64" or 15.6 thousandths larger. The only effect it will have is the male threads will engage just a hair deeper. BTW how thick is the material that you are drilling and tapping? If it is less than 3/16" you should use a weld on bung.
