Buck531
Anyone know the deal on getting new vanity plates? I have a vanity plate now that I just paid $80 for in May. What If I wanted to get a new one say now, with a different name on it? Am I going to pay the full $80 again? or is it retro or what not? Oo0martelle0oO
Yes I think you'll be paying full price again
mmrmnhrm
Should be able to find the answer on http://www.oplates.com. My guess would be that you'd end up getting hit for the full amount again, since you'd have to buy another pair of plates with the new wording anyway. I just didn't feel like reading shitloads of information. It's easier to post it on here . I don't have a problem buying the $35 plates. I'm more wondering about the registration. Since I just paid the $40 two months ago.. wouldn't it be a LITTLE cheaper?
SpaceGhost
I think you pay for the plates and then they will pro rate the tag.....
MrMeanGreen
I think you pay for the plates and then they will pro rate the tag..... You pay for the pro-rate only, and a $4.50 exchange fee. The annual fee and custom tag fee are already paid through next May. I know this because I go through like three custom plates a year on the Formula
