When Zanio can't be used?

Honestly you don't need the entire Zaino kit...while it's a good idea and will be thourough...you can get just the clay and the Z2 and get by....of course you'd still have to pay the $9 flat rate in shipping but you could skip the other stuff and be fine.

Without the ZFX (hardner) you can only do about 2 coats a day and then you have to wait 24 hours between coats to layer.

There aren't many places locally to get boutique level products. Auto Assets carries the Enzette line (a.k.a 1Z) which is quality products...I hate their packaging though but the Glanz wax is a great product (finiky on dark paints so not an issue for you).

Or my favorite run-of-the-mill product is Meguiars NXT tech wax (the liquid one not the paste). It's only downside is that it lacks durability of some of the "better" botique level stuff.

Clay is clay...you can get the Clay Magic or Mothers kits just about anywhere. I highly recommend it in frequent intervals on white to avoid the spotting that comes from bonded contaminants.

A pure cleaner / prep product might be another good idea on white. Look at the Meguiars #1 from the 3 step system or Meguiars ColorX for cleaning and prep. These would be used after clay and before the final protection of your choice.

Jax Wax is some Excellent stuff and they are Local

Seriously? That is what the car dealer I worked at used. Seems just run of the mill mass produced stuff to me.

The dash vent is super greasy.

The tire shine slings on everything, no matter what. I have a black car so that sucks.

The degreaser is okay.

The window cleaner is okay.

Their wax sucks donkey cock.

Auto Assets in Powell does have some good stuff. Also as Andy said, I would go with the Meguiars Clay Bar package, and use some Meguiars Gold Class wax. I used it on my car last weekend, and it turned out great.

Has anyone tried that new wax with Teflon? I was thinking about buying it but the thought of putting a Teflon based wax on my car got me a little nervious.

not a fan of NXT here...doesnt last very lonf at all and doesnt give as much depth as i would prefer. a good setup woud be the meguiars clay bar along with thier show car #7 polish and some of the #26 yellow carnuba wax. those two are just some quick things i could think of that work well. also try using the meguiars gold class car wash once detailed as it shampoos and conditions the paint to protect the previous coatsof wax and make the car look like it was just done that day! i highly suggest you check out the BEST detailing site around for some more info on products. http://www.autopia.org
