i know nothing about 1/4 mile passes and i'm pretty ignorant about drag racing.

but shouldn't/couldn't she be trapping a helluvalot higher than that??

Nope those are good numbers. A 6.88 if anything is a few tenths low for that trap.

thats amazing. so is this supposed to be typical for what a 385 series can deal with, or is this some sort of freak crank and block? are you runnign a 460?

Yes , im running a 460.

stock block is good for 800hp N/A with there setup(best known for good stock block)

cast crank about the same power level..they just seem too have the right combo :D

cause no one has really built a TT BBF of this manner to run Pro 5.0, but more 385s seem to be poping up everywhere :D

This is more like what the 385 series can do when build right. Like the one i just put in my car :p (testing friday will prove trans weakness)

pics of it have been posted here  by a jackass buddy of mine :o

and so since the cat is out of the bag

7000 in the traps! 3.55 gears, tall tires.. the power from the turbos push it

really on the 385s , the rods are what keep you from spinning it too hard.

but when you run aluminum rods, its piston weight that will kill it!

cast cranks are good for 8000rpm(n/a), when its built right!!!
