Just wanted to introduce myself. I've lived in Columbus for only 3 years now after moving here from Houston for 26 years. I purchased an 06 Civic Si about a month ago. Before all the rice flames start I just want to say that it's completely stock, I'm 29 years old and just not into wide body kits and fart cans. I bought it because it's fun to drive and reliable. Don't really know the car scene too much here in Columbus, but was big into in Houston. I like all cars, FWD, AWD, RWD you name it and I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to makes, models, etc. Just not knowledgeable when it comes to building/rebuilding engines, trannies, etc. Anyways, here's a few pics of the car.

I find it odd that Civics come with Large LCD screen nav systems.

Welcome.

First year ever offered on a Civic. But, then again they are an option on Mazda3's too. Pretty soon, every car will have a navi option.

Welcome. Clean car. Nice opening post.

From what it looks like, Houston has a great scene. Soon, I'm hoping Columbus will be put on the map in a similar fashion. Scene here is good, though I can't really attest for it during the last several weeks, since my car has been down and I haven't been out and about.

I sat in Berto's 06 civic EX and they are pretty sweet cars. I imagine an si would be a little peppier but I haven't driven any of the newer dohc ones. I used to have a b16b in an ek but from what I hear the newer k20's are a lot smoother. Maybe when I come home from iraq I'll test drive one for shits and giggles.

I had an 06 EX that I traded in for the Si. It's much more fun to drive and much quicker than the EX. You'll have to find someone who owns one for a test drive. No dealer in Columbus and surrounding area has any. 3 month waiting list. Even if you did find one, they're not letting anyone test drive it unless you're serious about buying it. :(
