Tulo
Specifically considering exhaust manifolds, what are your experiences with these? From what I understand, ceramic coating keeps the heat inside the pipes where as heat wrap just keeps the heat from getting to the rest of the engine bay. Would the ultimate setup be both coating and wrap? I've also heard that heat wrap can absorb water and cause problems. What is the hot setup? Dr. Apex
My header is ceramic coated and was heat wrapped for years until recently the wrap was old and worn out and just fell off. I've had no problem with any rust or anything, my header is in great shape. I'm told as long as it's a coated header it shouldn't rust out even with wrap on it. With the wrap off currently my under hood temps have jumped considerably, I'll be getting a new roll of it and re-doing it soon.
Mensan
Header wrap works well, but will speed up corrosion considerably. Also, if oil gets into the wrap and catches fire, there is no real good way to put it out for good. Ceramic coating puts off rust, but it will rust through later anyway. If you get your items coated every one or two years they will stand up to the elements a little better. Stainless exhaust is the best way to go. You can wrap SS as well to keep the heat in the pipes. Jelloman4571647545499
my turbo manifold was swain coated, then heat treated coated. They offer two colors. Then i was going to wrap the Downpipe to try and cool the engine bay even more. http://www.swaintech.com/

My y-pipe's rusting and something needs done before it rusts away.
RedRocket1647545505
as Clark said, go with Swaintech. http://www.swaintech.com ...I think. Look for the 'white lightning' coating that they offer. I've heard nothing but amazing praises towards this stuff.
