sslbn8o
I have an '88 Oldsmobile Cutlass as a beater, and it stalls sometimes when I come to a stop. It is the 2.8L V6 automatic transmission. I am going to assume it has a bad sensor on the transmission not kicking down a gear when I go to stop. Anyone know how to fix this problem, and how much it may run me?

sslbn8o
This is truely the first automatic I've owned, and know nothing about automatic transmissions. I know what a valve body is, but dunno how to check the fluid? I assume it is a dipstick like a manual transmission? I'll check it out tomorrow.
