evan9381
The Cayman love-fest continues..this time RUF gets in on the action... http://static.flickr.com/98/218383792_4fa06a864e_o.jpg //StudioTorino, the joint venture between designer Alfredo Stola and RUF has yielded another full-body recast, this time of the Porsche Cayman. Aside from being nearly completely reskinned by the studios' artistes, in the style of the Porsche 904 and Dino 246 GT, the closed-top RK also gets RUF's supercharged, 3.8-liter flat six (440 hp, 370 ft.-lbs). The result is a Cayman with Italian flair and an engine befitting the stock model's already spectacular geometry. All for four times the price.// http://static.flickr.com/75/218383726_9fc22ee4b2_o.jpg gotta have the "rear" shot... http://static.flickr.com/63/218383893_4cce6aafeb_o.jpg See them all at jalopnik.com http://www.studiotorino.com/en/auto/coupe/pagina_progetto.htm Fast cars, big money... http://www.studiotorino.com/immagini/auto/coupe/progetto/02.jpg //March 2006.Bahrain. AudiOn19s
Another nice example...still WAY too much money. I'd love to see someone make an *affordable* higher HP cayman as after being on-track in one they're a great car. With no F/I kits of any sort available yet the only option for getting decent power increases is going to the 3.8 997S motor which is stupid expensive. coty061885
It's hard to deny the beauty of the paint on this one; it looks really damn sexy. But, 4x's the price of a stock Cayman?! Wow!
