GonneVille
My brothers car has a rusty floorpan, needs cut out and a new piece welded in. Anyone know of someplace or someone in the Southwest/Grove City area that'll do a decent, but cheap job of it? Car isn't really safe to drive more than 5 miles or so as it is, so although tinman was my first thought, his location kinda rules him out. evan9381
its not safe to drive because of the floorpan? if you can get it there, tinman does really good work at a good price. he helped me out a while back and was pretty quick. id reccomend him (if you can get it there)
GonneVille
Well, the floorpan is gone to such a degree that Flintstone stops are entirely possible. None of the frame rails rusted, just the metal for the pan itself, which seems odd to me. It just left the rails hanging, it rusted to the welds then no farther! There's just no way to get all the way to Johnstown without getting onto high speed roads, anything faster than about 35mph and rocks and dirt start hitting your legs. Lustalbert
Cut a peice of plywood and throw it over the lack of floorpan and drive it till the rest of the car rusts to the ground. Or at least till you get to the Tinman and get it done right. BTW, what kind of car?
GonneVille
93 Plymouth Duster. He has the patch panel, thanks to three Sawz-All blades and an hour of cutting at Pick-and-Pull.
