wheezy
http://www.johnchow.com/index.php/corvette-powered-solstice/ Looks nice but seems kind of expensive. Does any know how many hours it takes to do a v8 swap? Also does the frame need more support so it doesn't twist?
Berto
I wouldn't buy it to beat miatas, i'll tell you that much. he has low standards.

Mallard
Why not? The stock Solstice already kicked the shit out of the Miata in SCCA club racing nationals and in SCCA autocross nationals. p.s. Nate- thanks for the message. I've been checking up on that a few times a week. Glad it's finally here.
Fiji ST
Solstice>Miata, especially with the V8 swap.
Miller
I was thinking how sweet a soltice would be with a v8, dreams do come true.
1Quik7
i think i'd rather have an LS1 powered Sky roadster...i'm not too big on the Solstice.

El Karacho1647545492
1.02 on the skidpad???i would think the weight distribution would be so fucked on that car.

Does any know how many hours it takes to do a v8 swap? Also does the frame need more support so it doesn't twist? The frame is solid. The only major work done is shaving the exhaust manifolds, making engine mounts, fabbing all of the lines, and interfacing the VCM to the gauge cluster/engine. They work closey with the fellows from LS*Edit, so the latter is not much of a problem. Phil - is that the transmissions you needed support for? Mallard
1.02 on the skidpad???i would think the weight distribution would be so fucked on that car. Actually no. The Mallet only weighs about 150lbs more then the stock car, and the weight distribution is barely shifted. Suprisingly, the Mallet Solstice weighs less then the GXP Solstice, according to magazine rated curb weights. Nate - Not exactly, but very helpful.
