I am looking to build a BB chevy, and at first I was going to pull a block and have it re-done and bore it over and new cam bearings put in it... and all that shit. Then I decided to look into aftermarket rotating assemblies, I found one company called Competition Products that was offering a 540ci rotating assembly, forged crank, steel connecting rods, JE pistons and Plasmamoly rings... they wanted $1795... I thought that was great... but I started to look around at other brands and most of the others for pretty much the same setup wanted around $4000... so I think to myself is Competition Products too good to be true heres the link http://www.competitionproducts.com/prodinfo.asp?number=SR540D my question is, has anyone ever heard of them?? and what is your opinion? do you think its too good to be true? is this Bullshit?
