If I bought it, I would eventually have it painted black. how much would I be paying for a good paint job. I dont want anything crazy, just something comparable to factory. Skinner Posted October 19, 2006 Report Share Posted October 19, 2006 just a heads up if you paint the car a different color is will hurt the resale of the car if you ever go to trade it in. but to answer your question on cost if you do it right and get all that door jams, truck and painted it will be fairly expensive (guessing around 3500 to 4000 due to all the extra prop work that would be needed). I would say keep looking for a black car if thats what you really want that way you're not wasting money on paint when you could put that towards engine mods.
