street pilot Posted December 7, 2006 Report Share Posted December 7, 2006 If you plan on using a 55 gallon drum for a wood stove in a garage with chemicals you are asking for problems. That wont last long before it burns through if you use it regularly. Which leads into the next problem; good luck getting insurance to approve that. You can find a nice old cast iron stove for $150.
