Farkas
A week or two ago before it started getting really crappy out I took my car out one last time to put as many miles on it as I could. After getting the carbs all sync'd up and running well enough to drive it I'm at about 300 miles give or take right now and it's running pretty good. I still believe I need bigger main jets because it falls off a little bit but unfortunately I can't take it up anywhere near the power band. However I can tell you it sounds phenominal and wants to pull hard even in the low RPM's. From my understanding I should be making my peak at 9,500 RPM's and I've only had the balls to give it 6 grand or so. Anyways, many of you probably want to hear it so here's a short little clip I uploaded. Just getting on it in 2nd really easy.. nothing wild. http://www.portal.conceptual-x.com/andy/slow.wmv Final Buildup Specs: Bored .5mm over, Honed, Blueprinted block Race balanced crank(to over 10k RPMs) 5 angle valve job & Portmached head Arias 81.5mm 11:1cr pistons Pauter custom H-beam rods Toda Valvesprings & Retainers Toda Cams- 304dur 8.5mm lift intake/288dur 8.5mm lift exhaust Toda Adjustable Camgears Toda Timingbelt TRD Japan Vitz one-piece underbucket shims TRD .5mm metal Headgasket ARP Everything TRD Thermostat TRD Rad Cap TRD Headers PASS Racing Underdrive pulley kit Weber Largeport adapter Weber 45mm DCOE carbs Weber Linkage and Soft-mount kit SR5 Low pressure Fuel Pump Holley FPR MSD 6AL Ignition MSD Blaster coil 2.25dia straight pipe/under-diff exhaust to Apexi can Bunch of custom stuff Just bought an aluminum radiator. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h20/splitduration94/IMG_0238.jpg http://photos-901.ak.facebook.com/ip002/v50/169/46/50609503/n50609503_30426901_1726.jpg http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h20/splitduration94/IMG_0246.jpg http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h20/splitduration94/IMG_0250.jpg

Farkas
Thanks everybody.. I wished it were spring so I could finish putting miles on the beast and getting it tuned. MegamanEXE: Too expensive, but I'm proud of how far the car has come. And I'm even more proud that 90% of it was done by yours truely. It has been a great learning experience for me, and now I get to learn about carbs and how to tune them.
