rl Posted December 20, 2006 Report Share Posted December 20, 2006 It should work OK, however to be safe I would use Russell powerflex line, as its rated much higher (2500psi) than standard stainless braided rubber line and will not corrode over time. Guest Removed Posted December 22, 2006 Report Share Posted December 22, 2006 just like hyd hose fittings,(the specail crimp deal) the press collar type shit. i did a ac/heat kit in a buddies studeabaker. i mocked up all the fittings, cut the hoses to lengh, and then double checked the routing and what not, and took them down too napa on feddern, and had them press the fittings for me.and its easyer and cheaper with the kits. High side pressures in current model A/C systems can exceed 300 PSI on hot days on the high side of the system.
