HAOLE
To a few questions- And DR. Rick, ask Scott Gillis about the time he tried switching prop rotation in his old 38 Baja. LMAO. And whoever bought it got a pretty good deal. I did not hear about that... I think I was in Chiropractic school when he had that. Marine engine that run in reverse rotation are built for that. That was a sweet boat! I was on the boat when his dad hit reverse and smacked the dock...ouch!

Total Sign
I did not hear about that... I think I was in Chiropractic school when he had that. Marine engine that run in reverse rotation are built for that. That was a sweet boat! I was on the boat when his dad hit reverse and smacked the dock...ouch! The engines run the same Left Hand rotation. But in the drives you can change the rotation of the props. This changes the speed and handling of the boat considerably (props turning "IN" vs "Out"). The easiest way to see what happens is to just switch the props, and then use the shifters backwards (forward is reverse, and vice versa). Mixing up the forward and backward deal can cause some big damage. I can't remember the exact dollar amount, but it was way up there.
