FormulaMatt
Can somebody recommend a good towing cam. The cheaper the better. I was looking at Summits value cam, they are made by crane so they cant be too bad. It is for my 1986 GMC Jimmy K5 305 4X4. It will be having at the same time installed a 600 carb, performer intake, and already has headers and a dual exhaust. I only drive it about once a week if that. Other than that it is for pulling my boat, which weighs about 1800-2000 pounds, and the snow (if we ever get any). I know there are a lot better cams out there than the one I have listed but this is a budget truck. Any help would be awesome, especially with the cam I have listed. Part number would be great, but other recommended specs would be great. Thanks. Dave

Dave1647545494
stay under .500 lift go with a 110-112 lobe sep for smooth idle and good torque the summit cam is a good choice or try the edelbrock cam matched to your application
