RUTAN TA1647545492
I had a few problems with the wifes car and had to pull the motor. It needed a new crank and rods, so I picked up a shortblock from Chris and took it to Phillips Racing eng. to have it rebuilt with all ARP hardware, rings, bearings, oil pump, lifters etc. I have been working on the heads for a while today, once im done there off to Phillips for new valves, springs, retainers and a valve job. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d58/RUTANTA/GTPhead003.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d58/RUTANTA/GTPhead004.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d58/RUTANTA/GTPhead002.jpg

Duff1647545513
Let me know how that goes, i'm lookin to get my GTP's engine rebuilt or get a swap. How much are they charging for the rebuild?
RUTAN TA1647545492
L67 I cant see spending $300 on stk rods. If I have any more trouble Ill order a set,but its a family car with a XP like cam and 2.8 pulley so its not making a ton of power. Thanks for the compliment

RUTAN TA1647545492
No, but I can rebuild them rather quick, If you dont need the smaller bearings. I have a on the car puller if you need that also. I might still need that 3.0 pulley or a larger pulley to break the new motor in on. Buck531
nope, don't need the needle bearings, just the bearings on the snout and the snout seal.

We just got 98 and up vortech support. I love free updates! Special thanks goes to Jesse at Wait4me Performance for he's assistance in developing and testing these Vortec calibrations. 98fiveseven1647545503
I dunno if I would do that... It was a simple question, Me and John had previously spoken bout the updates to tune the V6s a few weeks ago and a couple times before that even, as I have friend witha 2000 Camaro Y87 that could use a tune and a LT1 guy aswell. so guess what I did it

excell
BTW Chris can you get me a L32 casting # from the block? It's identical to the L67 casting number. It also still says "3800 Series II" because the block did not change. The only differences with the block are the connecting rods. The only way to tell is to take off the oil pan and look at them. Send me a pic and I can identify them for you. I’ve also been told recently that there is a slight ring-land thickness difference with the pistons in L32, but I don’t think it’s true. I haven’t seen an L32 piston since so I've been unable verify.
