Buck531
On a 4 lane road and they're in the one lane. And you get in the other going the same direction.. you can pass them right? you don't need to be stuck behind them going 10 mph?
Guest Hal
Out of respect I would stop. Although I would not slam on my brakes, I would come to a stop in a reasonable and safe manner.
Rally Pat
You had all better stop. People need to give respect for the dead. My dad had one of the longest funeral processions in Novak Funeral Home's history, and everybody stopped for us. The line extended as far as the eye could see all the way down High Street with my car at the front behind the hearse.
RedRocket1647545505
Here's the way I see it. If you want to respect the dead by pulling over, more power to ya. I won't criticize you for doing it. However, I myself, won't be pulling over. The way I see it is this; I wouldn't want to inconvenience anybody when I'm dead. I probably didn't know you, so why would I expect you to go out of your way to show some respect for me? I wouldn't. Second reason being; I'm dead. At this point in my existence, I really don't have much thought on the matter. I don't care if you respect me. I'm dead. The thinking has ceased. Basically what I'm saying is. I don't know you, nor do I give a shit about you. And yes, I'm an :asshole: .
Kevin R.
I like to carry around a magnetic flag so I can hop in line. Kind of like a cruise-in type deal.
LJ
I stop to respect the dead person.... unless there is like 2 cars in the line... then that means that nobody probably liked the person

We were going up the hill past Crosswoods, and at the top you could see the line stretching back past 270.

It's called RESPECT! Not to mention, normally there is a motorcycle escort that will be passing traffic to block roads, etc...the entire route. The last thing you need during a funeral line is causing an accident because some idiot doesn't want to slow down and take an extra minute out of there important day. It just comes down to people DON'T PAY ATTENTION while driving....

El Karacho1647545492
Maybe I'm just an insensitive prick, but why the hell does "Respect for the dead" mean a huge procession of black Cadillacs and so forth driving silently down the road escorted by police? Fuckin' dead people probably wouldn't want you wasting your tears. Though I do respect many culture's views on death and mourning (Shivah in the Jewish tradition, for example, is a week of mourning without doing anything but that), I personally would want people to not be howling and crying and turning my death into a burden on everyone, whether that means trying to make everyone not be depressed about my death, or whether it means not incumbering the lives of daily commuters with a quarter-mile long unbreachable crazy train.
