Got-Boost?
Don't get me wrong the cars are BAD A** but they are just very expensive to own and maintain once the warranty expires. As long as you understand that, it isn't a problem. My brother has had both a 740iL and 750iL so I know they are great cars. I'm just letting you know that if something serious goes wrong with the engine/drivetrain/electronics, you are going to have to take out a second morgage on your house to get it fixed.... Science Abuse
1995 S600: $10,000. Transmission swap for 1995 S600: ~$10,000 (dealer). No fix'n or rebuild, they're sealed units, and they last about 90,000 miles. Meanwhile, 1970s benz's have been known to rack up between 2 and 3 MILLION miles and are still plodding on today.
