xTHExBOSSx46 Posted February 13, 2007 Report Share Posted February 13, 2007 alright so i bought a laptop its a IBM r30. 1 ghz 256 mem 20 gig hard drive. blah blah blah. i upgraded my mem to 512. did a clean install of xp pro sp2. for some reason my processor speed keeps dropping to 412 mhz and then randomly pops up to 697mhz. and for the first month i had it it was at 1ghz. why all of a sudden now does it drop and how if possible can i fix it? thanks for any help.
