yardman10
I am purchasing a home that all the utilities have been turned off and the water and gas meter have been removed. Usually the water meter is left somewhere in the house but I think it has been stolen. Where can I get one that can be read with the remote box outside the house for less than the $100 dollars the city is going to charge me? Sawbinder
Let the city do it. Then if anything is wrong with it, its on them. Ijust had them install a new one in my new house and they did not charge me anything. Call them and ask them what they charge.
Akula
I don't know what you paid for the house but $100 seems to be a small percentage and quite worth it for water.
Dave1647545494
the city has to put the water meter in or a plumber with a lisence cheaper to pay the city I think
