Guest Removed
when you buy the gasket, make sure it comes with the tube seals.
STEVE-O
were is a good place to buy it from... i looked at napa and they dont have them how hard is it to do?
Clifford Automotive
check other local parts store. on those cars (4 cylinder right?) pull the wires and a few bolts on the cover. pull it off. clean surface. replace gasket. put it back together. verse
If it's really bad, I have seen those vavle covers warp before. But it's most likely just the gasket. Napa should have them.
Dave1647545494
you looked online at napa and couldn't find it or you called napa on the phone and they didn't have it? I find it hard to believe that napa doesn't have a gasket for a 4 cylinder toyota..... when you have the valve cover off check it with a straightedge to make sure its flat if its not make sure you straighten or replace the valve cover
