verse
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how I could tow a car that had no wheels/hubs/suspension parts. I found a good deal on a shell, but I don't know how I'd move it b/c he wants to keep his coilovers and the rest of the suspension parts. Ideas? turbomark
get your own suspension parts or put it on a dolly, you'd have to flat bed it

Bam
or if the suspension is still on the car and its local, why not just tow the car to your place and remove everything, if he doesn't have a problem with doing it at your place and you have a decent garage, it shouldn't take but a day to do it... verse
I'm looking either towards the flatbed with dolly's or either just getting about 6 guys to come with me and just lift it on to a trailer. It's just a shell with no drivetrain/suspension.

Even if ALL 6 guys can pick up and LIFT onto a trailer 200lbs, that's only 1200lbs, Unless its like a ef hatchback gutted w/ nothing, I'm not sure that 6 people can lift a car off the ground onto a trailer. That's totally different than just being able to lift the car up for a few seconds and dropping it back down. My back just hurts thinking about that. good luck tho... Bam
4 people = 63 spilt window shell = into a uhaul(no shit) and then into a storage unit. Yeah but older car shells don't have the unibody structure to them, which I would assume would be a huge amount of weight. Either way that's still a good feat, but again, my back....is hurting thinking about it.
