Need amp wires

I am looking for a power wire w/fuse and ground wire to run an amp in a Cougar. Does anyone have a bunch laying around they wanna sell or get rid of or know of the best bang for buck place to buy some? If the gf's car remains 'interiorless' another week... well, I'll fear for my life. I can't stay awake all night anymore watching my back.

I happened to walk by them the other day shopping. The only ones they had were $40 and more than what I needed. Just figured I'd ask around before I run to a store later. Or see what people suggested.

I've found Andersons is a pretty good place to get the stuff cheap. You can buy wire by the foot there too.

Meijer has some kits that work if you are just looking for the basics. They are cheaper than piecing your own together.

At least 8ga for the power cable.

I have 100 ft. of wire at my house. I want to say it's 5ga.......I'll have to double check tomorrow and let you know.

Yes, it'll be under 600. 8ga will be enough, of course, thicker is nicer but harder to hide. I want to improve the quality of the music for those inside the car, not the outside.
