hpfiend Posted May 9, 2007 Report Share Posted May 9, 2007 Maximum Motorsports has a tool that is supposed to make this job a lot easier... 40.00 but sometimes you can find them on eBay... http://www.maximummotorsports.com I have heard of people drilling out the rubber and then using an air hammer to compress the frame and push it out.... Guest Removed Posted May 9, 2007 Report Share Posted May 9, 2007 its the collar....read the fucking instructions first. then get the hammer. i was thinking for the after market bushing like those, reuse the steal sleeve over.(you have too clean out all the rubber bushing and then slide those in, that collar goes on the other end of the bushing.) but like i said read the instruction first. basiclly no need too remove the hole bushing, just the rubber. some bushing come with the metal sleeve, some dont. Stimmel1647545512 Posted May 10, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 10, 2007 No metal on the new bushings they are generic jegs brand, and yes i have been lighting them on fire its taking a while, haha I guess ill just keep melting the old rubber out of the sleeve and hope to hammer the new ones in without hurting them.
