TimTaylor751647545500
I'd prefer a mig (since I have more experience with mig). But I'd like to learn tig too and this could be a good way I guess. thanks

TimTaylor751647545500
Thanks for the link Rob. I'm pretty good at mig actually. I worked at Honda for 10 months on the final weld line in the motorcycle plant, just need something for personal use now.

TimTaylor751647545500
Harbor freight usually has pretty good prices. I've actually been thinking about that option, but wasn't sure if they actually have something like that with a name brand on it.
Guest Hal
I don't think they have name brand. I've had good luck with their tools. You just have to take them for what they are, cheap. I would buy a welder there if I needed one.
NWill
I bought a MIG from Harbor Freight a few months ago. It didn't work for shit. I returned for a different one....same story. I will never buy anything from there again..other than something that is difficult to fuck up....that I dont plan on using more than a few times. Kawboy1647545515
I've got a wire feed I'd consider selling.......but I don't really know what it's worth. The brand name is "Solar" which I believe is made by Century. It's 120 volt and I believe the model number is 117. If you are interested, PM me and I'll get your more info.
