Bam
I know about the badass oldschool grand nationals, and I saw this on craigslist last week, do these have the same drivetrain etc and are they easy to make fast? Just curious, seems like a good price for a good project car. http://columbus.craigslist.org/car/328322509.html
Scotty2Hotty
Close, but the T-types were more luxurious than the Grand Nationals. Of course GN's only came in black, where T-types had quite a few options to choose from. 86-87 were intercooled cars from what I know. Other than that I pass the torch on to................ baron_
a grand national is nothing but a t-type with an appearance package, from what i know so, i've heard people joke that a t-type would be faster than a GN (slightly lighter) GNX is a little different bigger turbo
AJ
if i had 4k i would be all over it, easy to mod to make big power.
baron_
before someone flames me for not saying the whole truth. . . (a trend on here) GN's i believe have heavier duty drums and heavier duty bumpers or bumper supports or something - some really minor, silly differences basically the same exactly car - GN is just a little heavier and has more options you can get a t-type in a bench seat/column shift (sleeper?) GNX's are really rare - bigger turbo and some upgraded parts...they're a different animal
Bam
I'm seriously considering picking the car up, I like the sleeper factor to most people, and being already turbo'd seems a plus, they are RWD correct? Anyone know some parts sites for them?
mattvr4
Yes they are RWD
Mitch
20 years old, only 47K and a true sleeper for only 4 grand...if the body is straight, sounds like a decent deal to me.
Buck531
That deal sounds wayyyyy too good to be true. I bet it sat out in a cornfield for 10 years. No pictures? blah. Just because it has low miles means nothing.

Art
$4,000 is way cheap, does it run, did it chase salt trucks in northern minnesota, dead guy in the trunk? Bad ass cars, but 4grand sounds very very cheap.
