Wireless/Computer Question

No I don't. Pops will have to check it out when he gets home he set it up and everything so I have no idea.

 

Read the manual if you have it. Also check your internal ip address (start run, cmd, type in ipconfig and hit enter). Normally the router's IP address is the start of the set of numbers your ip address is.

 

Example if you ip is 192.168.1.100 your router IP is probabl 192.168.1.1

 

Type in router ip address to your web browser's address bar. You should get a username and password prompt at some point. The password should be in your manual. Get in there and figure out how to change the wireless settings. Change the channel it broadcasts the wireless signal on.

 

Then make sure you change all computers in your house to listen on this channel if windows doesn't automatically do it for you.
