R1_MP Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 I use this technique with my German Shepherds. You should use a harness rather than a neck collar. IMO it's WAY to dangerous for the dog. If they decide to stop it could collapse their windpipe (happened to a friend). Good luck with the training!!! Mandova Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 That little puppy has big paws to carry. It's sweet. The treadmill is a great tool for getting out bottled-up energy. I would like to have one for our great dane. Her idea of fun is running. If you can use the dog whisperer as your training guide, you'll have a perfect dog. Unlike me.
