Any VW fans? I came across a really nice 1989 VW GTI (MkII) for sale

Hello,

Well I went to test drive this car today, and man it was nice. The black paint was in great shape, a few scratches but definantly exceptional for 18 years old, and had a great shine and the guy took care of it and you could tell.

Mechanically the car was very nice too. He had done a lot of work on it and the car felt very tight (solid) and was actually pretty fast (its relative, lol) and cornered strongly too. Tires had 5000 miles on em and gripped well.

I would buy this car if I was in the position to buy, but I dont have the $ right now. It would actually be a perfect daily for me, and I really doubt I'll be able to find something this nice when I really need a daily driver (winter).

The interior was very nice with everything working, the gearbox felt good and the seats were immaculate and were the nice striped GTI seats. The car had a very nice, euro look with the black paint, quad headlights and gold BBS wheels that were from an e30 BMW. The GTI also had the red trim all around the car and the grille which gives it a nice look.

Not trying to spam or anything, I just personally saw this car and was very impressed and I would buy the car today , but I really need to save the money I have for other things (like the FD)
