There is a guy here in town named Ryan. He has an FD with a stock LS1/T56 in it. He autocrosses it too, and he is ALL OVER THE PLACE! I rode with him when he first finished the swap. Light Japanese car + Insane Power-To-Weight + Torque = Fun Times. He is out at the QSL meets every once in a while.

Yup, ryan is a cool guy and that car is badass. The car has a full cage and the suspension too, very nicely put together car.

 

Hence why I'm looking into one, it can do everything I want it to and be very reliable.

Thats the Hinson Super Cars turbo'ed LS1 FD. They make LSX swap kits for FD's. They are also working on a production turbo kit for LS1 FD's.
