1996 honda civic 2 door ex for sale

okay i had to edit this because this is not my car it is my uncles. i don't know too much about it. i have been finding out things as the day goes .. this is what i have so far and he says there is nothing else.It is a 96 honda civic ex 2 door. Its green. it has the big v-tech( 2.4) i was told. its an automatic.50k miles on motor and 179k miles on the car. its has after market wheels,tires,headlights, sunroof and tail lights. stock parts do come with it. its been sitting for about a month or so. The shop my uncle took it to told him it had a bad head because it over heated. He was told everything else should be fine. there are a couple flaws in it. The passenger side rim was curbed when they brought it over ( not bent just some scratchs not bad ones ) the radio was stolen out of it a couple weeks ago. the passenger window track needs adjusted , body is in decent condition never been wrecked. if interested email m3 $700.00 dollars

Its VTEC. D16Y engine? What is the mileage on the engine? And what do you mean by the top half is bad?

well a mechanic had told me that the head is bad. and i was told it was the big v-tech.and it has 179 k milage

Does it still run? Is it manual or auto? How is everything else, tranny, brakes, etc. And is all I would have to do is get a new head for it?

the shop said the head was bad because they had over heated it the but everything else should be good. pics will be taken and posted by sunday

Its vtec not v-tech

 

There is no such thing as "big V-tech" , or "big vtec" for that matter

 

I highly doubt it has a 2.4l engine.

what is this big vtec you speak of? hopefully my car has the small to medium sized vtec.....wonder if they come in super sized?...kinda interested if we knew more

You can easily find that motor running for 50 bucks.

i would say so because the head is bad but the mechanic didn't say anything about getting it milled. he just said the head was bad because it over heated.
