Hey, mac guys...

how do I make my mac an NTP server? I don't want to go get NTP, I want to hand out ntp.

I'm assuming you're referring to OS X, not OS X Server. OS X Server has the function built in.

This should work:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/ez-ntp/

I've never done it. I run OS X Server. I'll see if I can't find more info for ya.

And here's a good listserv about it. Looks like you might be able to do it without installing anything:

http://lists.ntp.isc.org/pipermail/questions/2005-February/003997.html

This doesn't show how to do it, it is a guy asking how.

I figure I need to get into the ntpd.conf file and add something but I have no idea what I am doing.
