My bike for sale. Riding has been ruined for me this season. Im tired of idiots on sport bikes this year, and working 70hrs a week means Im not going to have a chance to ride. Im going to buy a new car within the next few weeks, and then a house this time next year, Ill get a brand new bike then.

This bike was featured in the Parts Unlimited magazine by the regional parts manager of Parts Unlimited. The bike was built by Bikes2NV here in Columbus Ohio. Dyno tuned by Brock Davidson. Bike has made 152rwhp.

I bought it from the regional manager himself for $9k with 3k miles on it.. The oil and filter was changed every 3k miles (Yamalube 4R)

What you get

-------------------------------

2002 Yamaha R1, Red

Braking USA Wave Rotors w/ new race pads (fronts and rear)

Stainless brake lines with speed bleeders on front calipers

-suspension adjusted for quick dip in response with settings for 185lb person

Vortex rear sets

Ohlins damper (A real one, not a crap Kawasaki stock one)

520-conversion chain (gearing throws off actual mileage) (needs new chain)

520 16 tooth front sprocket

520 44 tooth rear sprocket (brand new)

Power Commander PC III tuned by Brock

Full Hindle Titanium exhaust

Emissions removed

exup removed

Greggs flushmounts

Preload adjusters

Vortex race gascap

Bolt kit

Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen

rear eliminator kit

Carbon fiber rear hugger

Carbon fiber tank pad

Stomp Grip tank grips (not show in any pics)

I do have some remaining stock parts that will be included as well. Items such as a couple extra chains and gears, the stock rear shock, stock hugger and bolts..

This bike is definitely not a toy. Nor is it anywhere near stock. No one but me has ever ridden the bike since I’ve owned it. The previous owner Todd has had it at a few tracks days, as the bike was built for the magazine to advertise parts you can add to your sport bike to improve its handling and power.

There will be absolutely no joy rides or test rides without at least showing a deposit or proving the ability to be able to afford the bike. There has been a lot of time and money invested in this particular bike and I would like to see it go to some one that’s going to take care of it as Todd and I have. The bike has always been kept clean and freshly waxed.

Bike was purchased in cash therefore title is currently on hand ready for transaction

Reply here or email at biglipps66@hotmail.com with any question

$5,500 - would be hard to find another liter bike with all this crap for this price

Goes on eBay in 1 week, then goes to dealer 1 week after that, will be gone at the end of this month regardless.

Hi man, can you tell me the mileage? And, how much does a chain run for this/why does it need one? I have been looking to trade my 1500 Mean Streak for a liter sport bike, but could also buy one outright, then sell mine.

Thanks

Chain is old. 520s need replaced a LOT more than a heavy stock 530 does. Chain about $150.

Milage reads around 18k I believe. 1.3miles = 1 actual road mile though.. Should be around 13k actual miles if I hadnt changed all the gearing around.

Your more than welcome to come look at it.

I have an Ohlins rear shock for it too.. Ide add it for $300 more to the price. If I sell the bike without the Ohlins Ill throw that on the R1 forum for those scavangers hah.

Looks like shitty uh I mean me has a pissed off girlfriend and no room in his garage! Flounder I will get with you this weekend and show you that powdercoat. I will set you up with that rear peg too.

I guess I need to get back into the powdercoat business big time so I can put the money back into the ring fund!
